On May 31, 2003, a partial solar eclipse was visibile in central Europe. Here in  Dresden, the sun was already eclipsed when it was rising.

The pictures in this collection were taken from the ‘Merbitzer Berg’ near Dresden between a quarter to five and half past five in the morning.
